Island Tide Sportfishing offers trips out of French Creek, Deep Bay, Fanny Bay, Comox, Port McNeill and Port Hardy. It’s your choice!

What’s Included:

• Fully guided fishing experience on the “Lutra”, a 20’ covered, fully welded aluminum fishing boat, targeting:
  • Salmon,
  • Ling Cod,
  • Halibut,
  • Rock Fish,
  • Prawns
  • and Crab.
• Our boat is Transport Canada Registered and equipped with all required safety gear, floatation devices, VHF, radar, and up-to-date electronic navigation.
• All the latest tackle, 10′ rods, Islander reels, and Scotty electric downriggers – everything needed for a successful and fun fishing experience.
• Fuel.
• Bait.
• Light snacks and water.
• All fish cleaned and bagged.

What’s not included:

• Tidal fishing license.

  • NOTE: all passengers must purchase a recreational tidal water fishing license, valid for the days you intend to fish.
  • Also, be sure to buy the Salmon tag for all licenses. The tag is required to keep a salmon.
  • A printed copy of your license must be carried with you while fishing. All catch must be recorded in ink on the license at the time of catch.
  • Please make sure you print off a copy before the trip.
• Foul weather gear.
  • Dress for the day.
  • Dress in layers as conditions can change quickly.
  • Bring gloves if the weather is cool.
• On board facilities.
  • Our boat does not have a washroom, but we do carry a Luggable Loo with compostable liners and we can set up a privacy curtain if required. For more info on Luggable Loo click here
• Meals.
  • We do provide light snacks, tea, coffee and bottled water but you should bring whatever lunch and beverages you may want
